I grew up in Wisconsin, where sports were everything — and where I first understood what it meant to watch an injury sideline someone from the things they loved. That experience pointed me toward physical therapy, and I haven't looked back since.
I earned my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Chapman University in Southern California, which also happened to be the perfect excuse to trade Wisconsin winters for San Diego sunshine. I fell in love with the beaches, the golf courses, and a community that takes an active lifestyle seriously year-round.
"Every patient deserves a doctor, not a technician — and they deserve that doctor's complete focus."
After years working in large outpatient clinics across the greater San Diego area — watching patients get passed between staff, squeezed into 15-minute slots, and limited by insurance visit counts — I knew there had to be a better way. In January 2023, I was published in the Physical Therapy Journal of Policy, Administration, and Leadership, reflecting my commitment to advancing the field.
In 2023, I founded Regenerate Physical Therapy and Performance to practice the way I always believed it should be done: one doctor, one patient, complete attention, every time. No assistants, no handoffs, no shortcuts.
